Treatment Options

Individualized Treatment Plans & Therapies

Even if two people have the same diagnosis, every patient’s brain functions differently, and their challenges are unique. That’s why at Plasticity®, we treat people, not diagnoses. We create customized treatment plans for each client based on their individual brain function, challenges and goals. By utilizing innovative technology combined with a personalized treatment plan, we can achieve maximal outcomes by creating programs that are tailored to the patient’s needs. Like a cooking recipe, our rehabilitation process depends on the perfect mix of three factors:
  1. The type of intervention (the therapy/treatment/exercise)
  2. The order of intervention
  3. The amount of each intervention

The Plasticity® Difference

A Decade of Proof

With thousands of exercises and therapy variations (many exclusive to our process) and many different sequences, there are literally millions of combinations of therapies we can offer as part of an individual’s treatment plan, especially within our program. Many of our clients express that they are perplexed by the dramatically different outcomes generated by performing seemingly similar therapies compared to their previous therapies. These expressions provide us with verification that the way in which interventions are delivered is critical to the ultimate outcome.

The Foundation of This Approach

Much of our work is founded in a concept called “Event, Activity, or Training-Induced Synaptic Plasticity.” This work was pioneered and explored by pivotal researchers Paul Bach-y-Rita, Michael Merzenich (who received the 2016 Kavli Prize in Neuroscience “for the discovery of mechanisms that allow experience and neural activity to remodel brain function”), and more recently, Dr. Jeffery Kleim. Dr. Kleim suggests that there are 10 principles of neural plasticity, which we have incorporated into our technique.

C3-LOGIX

One of the best tools to test cognitive performance.

Posturography

One of the most sensitive tools to measure balance and stability.

Saccadometry

Tracking eye movements hundreds of times per second.

Oculomotor Assessment

Analyzing eye movements using video technology equipped with infrared cameras mounted in a pair of goggles.

Primitive Reflex Integration

Helping the transition from built-in reflexes to purposeful and volitional motor movements.

Rhythmic Movement Therapies

Coordinating your neurological systems to work on a rhythm with synchronicity.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Training to integrate your brain with your body, gravity, and space whether you're standing, laying, leaning, or moving.

Photobiomodulation (PBM)

A completely painless laser applied externally to stimulate the brain.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

A chamber designed to increase oxygen saturation in your brain.

Somatosensory Stimulation (RPSS)

Painless nerve stimulation to re-wire specific parts of your brain.
