Better Relationships

There are times in which significant brain injuries take a toll on relationships. But it doesn’t have to remain that way forever. Note that increased cognitive processing and memory can help improve relationships with family and friends. When a person’s brain is healthy and performing at peak function, chances are that they feel like himself again. At NeuraPerformance in Denver, the right brain training goes a long way with building a relationship back up.

Our team is ready to assist you with your brain performance. Feel free to reach out to us and ask about our four core technologies: neurofeedback, HBOT, GyroStim, and Dynavision D2™

This exercise involves wearing a cap that houses electrodes which are positioned to correspond to the areas of the brain you will be training based on your initial scans. Best of all, neurofeedback uses real-time displays of brain activity to teach self-regulation of brain function. Our staff continues to watch as neurofeedback helps patients manage emotions and find freedom from prescription medication, mood swings, and anger, all of which can inhibit good relationships.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

With HBOT, the air pressure is increased to three times the normal pressure as a way to promote healing and optimal cell function. Patients are welcome to read or listen to music during the session, which lasts about an hour. Simply put, hyperbaric oxygen therapy promotes the body’s own natural ability to heal. Many patients see greater energy and focus thanks to oxygen-rich blood delivered throughout the brain and body.

From improving reaction time and processing information more quickly to recovering from concussions, patients can also benefit from GyroStim training. This activity is meant to stimulate the senses in order to improve the speed and efficiency with which you perceive, process, and react. With gradual escalation, all of these begin to improve.

Dynavision D2™

This high-performance evaluation device records patient responses to gross motor, visual, and neurocognitive tasks. Dynavision training allows elite athletes, in particular, to make faster, smarter, and better decisions on game day. We’re also using Dynavision to improve athletes’ coordination and assist in concussion recovery.
